All of the walking sticks and canes are handmade by Scott Rainey. I pursue high quality manufacturing techniques and aim for end product durability and aesthetic functionality. That being said, I fully disclose that our walking sticks and canes are not intended for medical use; they are works of art or ‘fashionable canes’ or accessories which would not be prescribed by medical professionals for weight bearing and do not warrant as such. I use natural materials that contain natural undetectable flaws. If most of your weight will be used with a Strain Cane I recommend you use a medical walking device. My products are intended as balance aides not for major weight bearing.  My walking sticks and canes ARE NOT medical devices, nor are certified as such by the FDA. Our canes are not designed for medical use and Strain Canes makes NO medical promotions or claims regarding the medical effectiveness of my products. They are works of art and should be appreciated as such.Always consult your physician if they are recommending a walking aide for medical use. By purchasing any Strain Cane products, the buyer accepts to take on any risks of purchasing, owning, and prohibited use of my products. This is including but not limited to product fragility or breakage, personal injury, property damages, or injury to a third party, and the user agrees that Strain Canes shall not be held liable for any consequential, exemplary, incidental, indirect, punitive, or special injuries or damages resulting from purchase, ownership, or use of our products.  If Strain Canes products are used or stored in a way that causes damage or injury to any person or property, such as but not limited to use as a medical aid or device, walking aid, weapon, falling, swinging, breaking, or leaving a product unattended, Strain Canes shall not be held liable for the consequential or inconsequential injury or damage, intended or unintended, caused through prohibited use of our works of art.
